MATERIALS

Sport / light DK (#2-#3) cotton or cotton-blend yarn in chestnut brown, cream and dark brown; 2.5 mm hook or size needed to match gauge; two 10 mm safety eyes; polyester fiberfill; yarn needle; stitch markers; pins and measuring tape.

GAUGE

26 single crochet stitches x 28 rounds = 10 x 10 cm in firm single crochet. Match gauge before beginning if you want the reference proportions.

FINISHED SIZE

Approx. 24 cm tall to the top of the ears/forelock and approx. 16-17 cm wide across the seated hind legs when made to gauge.
